Are you a dedicated Mathematician looking for a role to support students to thrive?

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Teacher of Mathematics to join a community driven Secondary school in Lancaster. 
You will play a vital role in delivering engaging lessons, inspiring learners, and supporting excellent progress across KS3–4. The successful candidate will join a collaborative team that values creativity, inclusion, and high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons that engage and challenge pupils.

  • Contribute to curriculum design and assessment for learning.

  • Support student achievement through effective differentiation and targeted intervention.

  • Maintain high expectations of behaviour, progress and personal development.

  • Contribute to whole-school priorities and extracurricular enrichment.

About You

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant degree.

  • Proven track record of raising attainment and engaging learners.

  • Strong subject knowledge and understanding of current pedagogy.

  • Commitment to professional development and inclusive practice.
