Job Description

Join our trusted network of high-quality secondary teachers supporting schools across Lancashire. MAT Recruitment is seeking passionate qualified teachers across all subjects who can deliver engaging lessons and maintain continuity of learning in the absence of the class teacher.

We prioritise professionalism, reliability and impact — ideal for teachers who value flexible work while maintaining classroom standards that make a difference.

The Role:

  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons or design creative learning experiences when required.

  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively and uphold school policies.

  • Ensure every pupil continues to make progress in the teacher’s absence.

  • Build strong professional relationships within our partner schools.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised equivalent.

  • Recent experience teaching in a UK secondary school.

  • Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.
