Are you confident leading a classroom and keeping students on track? MAT Recruitment is building a strong team of Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across Lancashire.

This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers or experienced school staff who enjoy the classroom environment but prefer not to plan or mark.

The Role:

• Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring tasks are completed.

• Manage behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.

• Support pupils with questions and clarify lesson instructions.

• Report back to teachers and school leaders on lesson outcomes.

Requirements:

• Previous school experience or work with young people (preferred).

• Excellent communication and classroom presence.

• Confidence to engage and motivate students.
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
