We are currently recruiting for a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant on behalf of a school committed to improving student behaviour and outcomes. This is a key role aimed at supporting a positive school environment where discipline and respect are central values. This is a permanent, full-time position beginning from September 2025. 

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you’ll be more than support, you’ll be a co-pilot in the learning journey. You’ll help students navigate challenges, build confidence, and thrive in and beyond the classroom. Whether you’re leading lessons, supporting interventions, or offering a steady presence, your work will make a real impact every single day.

Key Requirements:

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
• HLTA status (or a willingness to work towards it)
• At least 2 years’ experience in a school or support setting
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4
• A calm, resilient, adaptable and trauma-informed approach.
• Experience supporting students with SEMH or additional needs
• Strong relationship-building and de-escalation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively, stay organised, and bring energy to the role.
