Job Description

We are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Portslade to recruit a passionate and committed Teacher of Geography / Humanities on a part-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative and supportive department that is dedicated to delivering a high-quality education and inspiring a love for learning across the humanities subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive Geography and Humanities lessons that inspire and challenge students across Key Stages.

  • Monitor, assess and report on student progress in line with school and departmental policies.

  • Contribute to the ongoing development of curriculum plans, resources, and schemes of work.

  • Support the broader life of the school through participation in extracurricular activities such as geography clubs and educational trips.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote a positive and dynamic learning environment.
