Job Description

MAT Recruitment are delighted to be seeking an Teacher of Photography  for a brilliant school in to support their photography department. This is a full-time, permanent position, to begin in September 2025.

As the successful candidate, you must have a valid QTS, with detailed knowledge of the photography national curriculum. You must be confident when it comes to classroom management, engaging easily with the wider school community. Key duties will involve:
  • To strategically plan for the development of the following areas demonstrating impact of these on learning and progress of pupils
  • Create and engaging environment for learners of all abilities
  • To narrow the gaps in the achievement of all groups of learners through:
    • Implementing and managing an appropriate assessment strategy
    • Ensuring a curriculum which facilitates the progress of all learners
    • Ensuring responsive interventions across photography
