The Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other professionals to assist students with additional needs, helping them to engage in learning and develop essential life skills.
Key Responsibilities
Provide individual and small-group support to students with SEN.
Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
Support students’ social, emotional, and academic development.
Encourage independence and confidence in students’ learning.
Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other staff members.
Implement behaviour management strategies to promote a positive learning environment.
Provide personal care support if required.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience working with children with SEN, preferably in a school setting.
A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to supporting students.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) – desirable but not essential.
