MAT Recruitment is supporting The Bay Learning Trust to appoint an Executive Headteacher & Director of Primary Education at the fantastic, Barnacre Road Primary School. You will be a dynamic and self-motivated leader with a proven track record of experienced leadership of both staff and pupils. This purpose of this role is to lead the primary provision across the Trust and Barnacre Road Primary School.

Barnacre Road was the first and currently the only primary school in The Bay Learning Trust. You will be someone who leads with influence and builds strong partnerships with other primary schools in Lancashire with a view to further growth of the Primary Sector in the next 2-5 years.

Barnacre Road Primary School is a mixed primary school, catering to pupils aged 4-11, the school also has a foundation stage welcoming children from age 2. Barnacre Road Primary School is an inclusive school with an educational philosophy centred around the child. The school aims to produce lifelong learners who grow up to be successful, well-rounded individuals ready to make a positive contribution to their community and wider society. This is reflected in the Mission Statement “At our school we value everyone, and learning is about: Working hard, trying our best, having fun”.
