Are you a dedicated and experienced behaviour support assistant or mentor looking for your next opportunity? Based in Darwen, Lancashire? We have an exciting new role for you! This is a permanent position to begin as soon as possible!

 

We are looking for adynamic, proactive and caring person is required to support, mentor and work alongside students who need additional time to self-regulate, complete their work and reflect on their approach to learning. The successful candidate will work alongside a group of students from 11-16 years old, monitoring and tracking their progress and help them successfully reintegrate into the main learning environment. Responsibilities of the role will include ensuring student behaviour is maintained throughout the school. 

 

Although this is a non-teaching position, the suitable candidate would have strong Literacy, English and ICT skills and be able to communicate effectively with parents, staff and external services working to support students in being successful! You will work closely with the Head of Year and Senior Leadership Team to provide pastoral and behaviour support to students.
