Job Description

MAT Recruitment are delighted to be seeking an Humanities Teacher for a brilliant school in to support their humanities department. This is a full-time, permanent position, to begin in September 2025 or sooner.

As the successful candidate, you must have a valid QTS, with detailed knowledge of the  national curriculum. You must be confident when it comes to classroom management, engaging easily with the wider school community. Key duties will involve:
  • To strategically plan for the development of the following areas demonstrating impact of these on learning and progress of pupils
  • Create and engaging environment for learners of all abilities
  • To narrow the gaps in the achievement of all groups of learners through:
    • Implementing and managing an appropriate assessment strategy
    • Ensuring a curriculum which facilitates the progress of all learners
    • Ensuring responsive interventions across Humanities.
