Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a dedicated School Administration Manager on behalf of a school committed to improving student behaviour and outcomes. This is a key role aimed at supporting a positive school environment where discipline and respect are central values. This is a permanent, full-time position starting in January 2025 or sooner.
As the School Administration Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering an efficient and responsive administrative/business support service to meet the needs of the Headteacher and Leadership Team.
- Supervising and supporting the business support team, including developing training plans and ensuring quality standards are maintained.
- Managing and maintaining key systems and equipment, as well as ensuring effective stock management.
- Providing timely and accurate management information, including preparing reports and research data to support school leadership.
The role will focus on:
- Enhancing the efficiency of administrative functions in line with school policies and procedures.
- Ensuring excellent customer care and quality standards are upheld across the business support team.
- Developing systems and processes to improve the responsiveness and flexibility of administrative services.
You will play an essential part in:
- Leading the administration team to deliver high-quality services.
- Supporting the school’s commitment to creating a safe and respectful environment for students, staff, and the community.
- Contributing to the overall efficiency of the school’s operations.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in administration, ideally within an educational or similar setting.
- Strong IT and organizational skills with the ability to handle complex and sensitive tasks.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships.
- Leadership experience, including supervising and training staff.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
