Job Title: Inclusion Centre Manager (SEMH)

Location: Blackpool

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Inspiration Centre Manager to lead our Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) support facility in Blackpool. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the centre, ensuring the delivery of high-quality support services to children and young people with SEMH needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the activities of the Inspiration Centre, ensuring a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment.
- Develop and implement individualized support plans for students, working collaboratively with staff, families, and external agencies.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of support staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs and interventions, making adjustments as necessary to meet the needs of the students.
- Promote positive relationships with students, families, and the wider community to foster a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and regulations.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a leadership role within an SEMH or similar educational setting.
- Strong understanding of SEMH needs and effective support strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with best practices in SEMH support.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant degree or professional qualification in education, psychology, social work, or a related field.
- Experience in developing and implementing support plans and interventions for children and young people with SEMH needs.
- Knowledge of local resources and services available to support SEMH students.
