Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Learning for Technology to join a fantastic school in Rochdale. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both D.T. (Design Technology) and Art, with proven experience in leading and managing these departments. This is a permanent, full-time position beginning from September 2024.

• Lead and manage the D.T. and Art departments, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning.
• Develop and implement innovative curriculum strategies in Technology, D.T., and Art.
• Mentor and support teachers within the departments to enhance their professional growth.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of teaching practices and student outcomes.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity and critical thinking.

• Extensive experience in teaching and leading D.T. and Art.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Ability to develop and implement curriculum strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
