Good knowledge of Xero methodologies and practices to process financial records
Good understanding of financial concepts, accounting and bookkeeping principles and procedures, debtor, creditor and recon
Good understanding of statutory requirements and latest updates i.e. tax legislation
Adequate bookkeeping related experience and accounting principles from creating financial transactions and creating financial reports from the information to reconciling accounts
Good understanding of accounting records and importance of conforming to internal financial procedural processes in accordance with company policy and accounting principles.
Aptitude for numbers
Excellent Excel skills/MS Word
Apply financial knowledge in day-to-day transactions.
Ability to deal with clients in different sectors of industry
Strong skills using and understanding the flow of transactions in an integrated and automated payroll accounting system
Demonstrate at least 3-year experience in Xero software (Essential)
Good grasp of financial principles
Qualifications
Matric certificate essential with mathematics
Degree in Accounting essential
Honours degree in Accounting (Advantageous)
