Job Description
Our client, a leading provider of advanced Broadcast, Telecoms, Enterprise and Electronics solutions across Southern Africa, is seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager – Telecoms & Enterprise Solutions.
In this senior role, you will drive strategic growth with major telecoms and enterprise accounts, expand our market presence in mobile and fibre networks, and deliver high-value technology solutions to industry leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and drive growth in strategic Telecoms and Enterprise accounts and solutions.
- Develop and close new business with mobile operators, network providers, integrators, and enterprise customers.
- Build trusted relationships with both commercial and technical decision-makers.
- Present and position complex technical solutions in line with customer needs and business outcomes.
- Ensure ongoing renewal of existing SLAs and secure new SLAs to grow the service portfolio.
- Maintain strong partnerships with international principals and suppliers.
- Track market developments and industry trends to inform account strategies and pipeline growth.
- Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets, delivering accurate forecasts and reports.
Requirements
- 10+ years’ experience in the Telecoms industry, including at least 5 years in sales or account management with a track record in complex, high-value accounts.
- Technical qualification in Telecommunications, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong technical understanding of mobile networks (core, transmission, RAN) and fibre network infrastructure.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently, drive initiatives, and influence key decision-makers.
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel locally, regionally and internationally.
- Experience with Optical Fibre, RF and Microwave Test & Measurement solutions is an advantage.
