Job Details: Field Engineer

• Salary: Starting salary £32,000 per annum increasing after probation period
• Working Pattern: Monday - Friday 40 hours per week Flexibility required

Our client is an independent UK company dedicated to providing the very best cleaning chemicals, consumables, PPE and sanitising products available with a support and delivery service second to none within the industry. Although the automotive industry is still by far their largest market, they have expanded their range of specialist chemicals into many other sectors.

This role is to provide support to Operations and Customers across the group of companies and to steer the ship at the depot and be an on-site point of contact.

The position will be based from home, covering the South London / South West Region. This position would ideally suite someone living in Bath / Oxford / Newbury / Reading / Aldershot or South London.

Responsibilities and Duties 

• Maintenance and repair of Jet Washes, Hoovers and other equipment as required
• PAT Testing
• Respond to Jobs/ callouts as soon as possible within your region
• Assist operations teams with setups of new sites
• Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed

Qualifications and Skills Essential: 

• Sound knowledge of machinery repairs and maintenance
• Use working knowledge and initiative to ensure the most appropriate repair methods are used
• PAT testing experience
• The ability to work alone and as part of a team
• The ability to maintain High quality Standards in fast-paced environment
• An awareness of safety procedures
• Great customer service skills
• Full clean UK driving licence
