Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead the strategic and day-to-day management of sales operations within the steel sector. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and fostering strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate will identify new business opportunities and deliver tailored solutions to meet client needs, while maintaining consistent communication and regular visits with key customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all sales activities to support business growth within the steel industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, dealers, and stakeholders.
- Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase sales within the assigned territory.
- Collect and maintain comprehensive customer data, including dealer/importer lists and contact information.
- Provide insights into market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity.
Core Qualifications
- 8–10 years of proven experience in sales within steel fabrication, stock selling, or trading.
- Demonstrated success in client development and consistently achieving sales targets.
- Strong understanding of steel products, applications, and market dynamics.
- Track record of effective communication and client engagement to drive sales.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Solid knowledge of steel industry regulations and standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel locally and internationally as required.
