General Practitioner (GP) – Geriatric Focus | Drogheda, Balbriggan & Ardee

Fairgate Medical is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic General Practitioner with a strong interest in Geriatric Medicine to join our friendly and well-supported team on a long-term basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a modern, well-established practice based within a Primary Care Centre while also playing a key role in the delivery of high-quality care to nursing home residents across the region.

You will be joining a collaborative team of 4 GPs, supported by a highly experienced nursing and administrative team, with access to ongoing clinical support and professional development opportunities.

Role Overview

This position is approximately 8 sessions per week and includes:

• 3 to 4 sessions per week providing medical care across nursing homes in Drogheda, Balbriggan and Ardee
• 2 GP clinical sessions per week in Fairgate Medical, Drogheda
• 2 administration sessions per week dedicated to Nursing Home Admin

• Has previous GP experience
• Has a strong interest in and commitment to Geriatric Medicine
• Enjoys working within multidisciplinary teams
• Possesses excellent communication and organisational skills
