General Practitioner (GP) – Maternity Leave Cover

�� Start Date: First week of August 2026
�� Contract: 6–12 months (Maternity Leave Cover)

The Opportunity

A well-established GP clinic in Youghal, Co. Cork is seeking a General Practitioner to provide maternity leave cover for a minimum of 6 months, with the possibility to extend up to 12 months. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and patient-focused practice with an established team and strong community presence.

Working Schedule

• Monday: Full day
• Tuesday: Half day
• Wednesday: Half day
• Thursday: Full day

Remuneration

• �� €350 per session

Key Requirements

• Registered GP with the Irish Medical Council (IMC)
• Experience in Chronic Disease Management (CDM) essential
• Familiarity with Socrates practice management system preferred
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
