Private GP Partner Opportunity – Cork City

The Practice

A well-established and progressive GP practice in Cork City is seeking a Private GP Partner to join the practice on a long-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated GP who wishes not only to enter partnership, but also to play a key role in shaping the future direction of the practice.

The Opportunity

The successful candidate will initially join as a Private Partner, with a clear and structured transition plan in place:

• Up to 1,000 GMS patients to transfer to the incoming partner once their own GMS list number is obtained
• A total of approximately 1,500 patients to be transferred over time
• Significant scope to drive the practice forward, contributing to clinical, operational, and strategic development
• Strong existing patient demand with opportunities for continued growth
• Well-supported clinical environment with experienced nursing and administrative staff

Candidate Requirements

• Registered on the Irish Medical Council Specialist Division)
• Eligible to obtain or already hold a GMS list number
