level= is delighted to be supporting Premiership Rugby in their search for a talented Head of Partnerships.


Premiership Rugby Limited (PRL) is a private company owned by 13 Member Clubs and CVC Capital Partners and are principally responsible for managing the Gallagher Premiership Rugby competition. PRL also manages the Premiership Rugby Cup, Premiership Rugby Shield and Under 18s competition. Their vision is to create “Unmissable World-Class Sporting Entertainment that is Accessible to All” and to be the “Beating Heart of the English Game”.

The Head of Partnerships role is an integral member of the PRL commercial team. If you can demonstrate experience of running a multiple brand partnership portfolio and leading successful partnership programmes, then you could be perfect for our client, and we'd love to see you apply.


Head of Partnerships Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving the success and execution of partnership programmes, whilst working proactively with the sales team as part of the business development

  • Growing the portfolio to represent an increase of 60% of terms of commercial revenue

  • Coach and inspire the partnership team

  • Deliver key commercial targets relating to each partner, overseeing all aspects of the partnership including rights execution, match day tickets and hospitality, Club activation including player and wider team appearances, internal and external communications, marketing impact, digital and social media campaigns, broadcast update and community association

  • Financial reporting and managing the P&L associated with each partner

  • Partner reporting, tracking key metrics against each partnership

  • Deliver against contractual obligations with regards to key events, such as the Premiership Rugby Final

  • Demonstrate commercial creativity to support initiatives, such as a Semi-Final Festival and the Partnership Summit

  • Oversee the successful implementation of the ticketing programme, ensuring partners are activating rights


Head of Partnership Key Requirements:

  • Experience of complex stakeholder management both internally and externally

  • Experience of running a multiple brand partnership portfolio

  • Experience of managing partnerships contracts with the ability to protect a brand

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to demonstrate commercial creativity

  • Able to bring a solution-focused approach to work

  • Available to attend matches to entertain key clients and continue to build relationships


The Package:

  • 10% performance bonus

  • 3 days in the office / 2 days from home

  • 5% of base salary as employer’s pension contribution
