Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Patent Secretary / Patent Administrator to join a busy and supportive professional services environment. This position is a hybrid role working 2 days per week in the London office 3 days per week remotely.
The Role
You will provide comprehensive secretarial, PA and administrative support to an assigned small group of fee earners of mixed seniority, playing a key role in maintaining efficient workflows and high client service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing, formatting and amending legal documents and correspondence
- Managing diaries, meetings, travel arrangements and day-to-day priorities
- Monitoring deadlines and prompt schedules using internal systems
- Liaising professionally with clients, attorneys and external bodies
- Supporting billing, file management and general administrative processes
- Assisting with projects and providing cover for colleagues when required
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience providing support to Patent Attorneys either as an IP Administrator or Patent Administrator or Patent Secretary.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and a professional, client-focused approach
- Comfortable using document management systems and Microsoft Office
