Kinetic has partnered with a leading Pharmaceutical company who are hiring a Head of Legal to be based in Riyadh.

Applicants must have proven work experience in the country where the role is based. Candidates who have relocated within the last 12 months will not be considered.

The main responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Lead the legal function, acting as a strategic advisor to senior leadership.
• Provide legal advice on commercial contracts, regulatory matters, statutory obligations and business activities.
• Draft and negotiate complex contracts, transactions and agreements.
• Identify and manage legal and compliance risks, providing practical business-focused recommendations.
• Lead significant disputes, litigation, investigations and legal projects.
• Advise on regulatory, licensing, employment and other key legal matters.
• Manage and develop legal resources and support junior legal professionals.
• Build and maintain relationships with government authorities and regulatory bodies.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legal, regulatory and reporting requirements.

To be successful, you will need to meet the following:

• Bachelor's degree in Law.
• 10+ years' legal experience, ideally within the pharmaceutical, healthcare or another regulated industry.
• Fluent Arabic and English a must.
• Proven experience managing legal teams, projects and complex legal matters.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi legal and regulatory requirements.
