Position: Seasonal Ecologist - (3-6-Month Fixed Term)
Locations: Cambridge
Salary: Circa £25,000 (pro-rata)
Duration: April to September 2025 (with potential for permanent role)

Role Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic grad/junior ecologists to join our team for the upcoming survey season. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or those early in their careers to gain valuable hands-on experience in ecological work, with the potential for a permanent role after six months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field-based surveys for habitats and species across various project sites.
- Assist with biodiversity assessments and ecological reporting.
- Collect and organise survey data, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Support fieldwork logistics, including transport and resource arrangements.
- Ensure health and safety compliance during all field activities.
- Collaborate with project teams and assist with client communications.
What We're Looking For:
- A degree (or nearing completion) in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
- Some experience or coursework related to ecological surveys or biodiversity assessments.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to travel to different project sites, including occasional overnight stays.
- Full UK driving licence (desirable).
- CIEEM membership or eligibility (beneficial but not essential).
