Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Residential Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of our clients elderly residential care facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in elderly care and residential management, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our residents while complying with all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the residential home, ensuring a safe, caring, and supportive environment for all residents.
- Lead and motivate a team of care professionals to deliver high-quality care services.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including the Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of residents.
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of staff.
- Manage the budget and resources of the care home effectively.
- Maintain accurate records and reports in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Foster positive relationships with residents, their families, and external stakeholders.
- Implement and monitor policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of care.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience in elderly care and residential management.
- In-depth knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory requirements.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing high-quality care.
- Relevant qualifications in health and social care (e.g., NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management or equivalent).
- Previous experience in a similar role within a care home setting.
