Job Title: General Manager (Nursing Home)
Location: South West
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: Circa £70,000 per annum plus bonus
We are seeking an experienced General Manager with experience of nursing home management to oversee the daily operations of our clients nursing home service in the South West region. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining a high standard of care for residents, and managing the budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the nursing home service
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures
- Manage and supervise staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Maintain a high standard of care for residents and ensure their safety and well being
- Manage the budget and financial performance of the service
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, family members, and staff
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality of care and services provided to residents
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing home management
- Active nursing license (desired but not essential)
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance
- Experience managing budgets and financial performance of a facility
