Complex Care Assistant
Regular nights/days £15-£17 per hour /PAYE or limited company payment available
Driving license required for this role.

patients own home?
Innovate Care Group provides support to adults and children with complex care needs in multiple settings such as home, school, day centres.
We enable our clients to remain comfortable within their
personal environments, whilst being cared for by professional and highly trained Healthcare Workers and Registered Nurses. We pride ourselves on delivering care that truly meets the needs of the individual we support and provide a first-class service to the teams who support them.
Innovate Care are looking for experienced Complex Care Assistants to support a young lady with an acquired brain injury at home, in school and occasionally on holiday.
The right candidate should be proactive and able to use their initiative to deliver person centred care. They must be familiar with moving and handling, personal care and medication administration, with the ability to work both
independently and as part of a team.
Our client is a 15-year-old sociable young lady who values her relationships with friends and family.
She has a complex mobility plan to enable her rehabilitation, including regular hydrotherapy that her
care team would support. The successful candidate will be provided with in-depth training and personalised guides from her dedicated multi-disciplinary team. She enjoys music, theatre, cooking, baking and film, and loves spending time around others. Our client has a dog which she enjoys taking for walks, she will require support in doing so and taking care of it.

What we need from our Care Assistants
Have the ability to recognise deterioration in both psychological and physical health
Have an understanding of safeguarding
Be able to fit into a family setting
The ability to work independently and also as a team member
Be friendly, kind and approachable
Demonstrate commitment to providing high quality, safe effective practice
Promote dignity and respect
Support all our clients physical therapies including hydrotherapy
Be pet friendly (our client has a friendly little dog and requires full support to take care of this including taking for walks)
To support in school, ensuring support is given for educational activities and document all activities in school accurately
Accurate and timely documentation throughout the shift
To work closely with the Clinical Lead
To have a commitment to learning new skills and building this into the clients day
