Complex Care Assistant

Are you a dedicated Complex Care Assistant, seeking a person centered role, providing quality care within a patient own home?

Innovate Care Group provides support to adults and children with complex care needs within their own homes. We enable our clients to remain comfortable within their home environments, whilst being cared for by professional and highly trained Healthcare Workers and Registered Nurses. We pride ourselves on delivering care that truly meets the needs of the individual we support and provide a first-class service to the teams who support them.

Innovate Care Group are looking for experienced Complex Care Assistants to support a young girl who was diagnosed with Spinal Cord Injury.

Our client is a fun person with lots of sense of humor that enjoys being at home with her family and socialize with friends. She likes having pampering sessions during the day, enjoys cooking and loves a good coffee.  

As a result of her spinal cord injury our client requires support with personal care, temperature control, bowel management, catheter care and cough assist.

For the right candidate we can provide bespoke training in line with our client’s requirements

Shift pattern

Regular days

2:1 care

8am-8pm or 8am-10pm

Regular nights

1:1

8pm-8am

Requirements of a Complex Care Assistant

• Have the ability to recognize deterioration in both psychological and physical health.
• Have an understanding of safeguarding.
• Be able to fit into a family setting.
• The ability to work independently.
• Be friendly, kind and approachable.
• Demonstrate commitment to providing high quality, safe effective practice.
• Spinal Cord Injury/Catheter care/ Bowel management
