Design Engineer– 6 month contract – Remotely from home (Europe) – ASAP start – Offshore Wind Farm

I am looking for a Design Engineer for an offshore wind farm based in Europe. This role is based working remotely from home.

Role:

• Act as the key contact person for primary steel design discipline within the Foundations Package.
• Interface with the Installation contractor from design point of view.
• Interface with the Inter Array Cable Contractor.
• To review flanges tolerances mitigations to ensure a proper installation stage.
• Ensure that foundations structural design is delivered according to employer’s requirements, safety and quality standards.
• To review the inputs and deliverables from the designer.
• Management of comments to structural design documentation.
• To provide technical support to the Design Manager from a structural point of view.
• To manage the structural input on the FOU and IAC interfaces with other relevant packages and input providers.
• Identify risks and effectively manage mitigation measures.
