P&C Design Engineer – Rolling contract – North of England - outside IR35 – ASAP

I am looking for a P&C Design Engineer. This role is based on in the in the North of England and will be site/office based. My client is a leader in the UKs Power and Transmission sector and is looking to expand their team.

Requirements:

• Have experience in the design of control and protection systems for HV systems
• Electrical Engineering degree
• National Grid 132kV – 400kV project experience is desired
• Be IT literate

Role:

• Interface between the client and external companies involved with the project
• HV light current secondary design capability
• You will be responsible for the lead design work with due regard to Health, Safety & Environmental Procedures
• Represent the Department at project start-up
• Be involved in internal meetings regarding the project

• Monday - Friday 
• Outside IR35 
• Hybrid role 
• North of England 
• 12 months rolling contract
