Control Engineer – 10 month contract – USA - outside IR35 – Based onshore – ASAP start

I am looking for a HV Control Engineer. This role is based on in the USA and you will be based in the control room onshore.

Requirements:

• Must have 2 years experience as a HV Control Engineer
• SCADA experience preferred but DTS experience would be considered
• Offshore wind project experience
• Must have or get their full GWO
• Must be able to pass an authorisation Pannell
• Evidence of previous authorisations

Role:

• Provide technical support to the control room team for HV network issues and faults.
• Perform HV operation management duties in accordance with HV safety protocols for the consent & cancellation of HV documentation.
• Perform operation management duties in accordance with HV safety protocols for switching activities across the HV network.
• Support the integration of future projects into the company portfolio.
• Continuously improve working practices, procedures, and governance.
• Support or lead as appropriate the appointment and management of external consultants and contractors.
• Advise/support on planning and work control arrangements for HV works on operational assets.
• Plan and coordinate off hour requirements for the operations control centre staff.

• 2/2 rotation
• SOV
• 10 month contract (chance of extension)
• 12 hour working day
• ASAP start
• All inclusive rate
