Financial Analyst, Structured Finance

Job Description:
- Collaborate within a team to originate, structure, and execute structured finance and project finance transactions, including debt arranging and financial advisory.
- Conduct comprehensive product and market research using diverse sources, distilling relevant information to inform senior-level decision-making.
- Utilize existing models to analyze product performance, identify trends, and provide insights for product development and marketing strategies.
- Perform profitability calculations using C-Hub and maintain the pipeline database (nCino).
- Contribute to credit applications and take ownership of specific sections related to product expertise.
- Assist in preparing TEC Papers, Business Screening, and DSC Memos (Debt and/or Advisory).
- Interface with clients at a counterpart level to relay information and address routine inquiries, ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Foster relationships across the organization to facilitate information gathering and effective collaboration.
- Engage with other GCIB departments and stakeholders, including PAM.
- Conduct initial compliance checks adhering to internal and external protocols.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of core systems within ESFO and MBE, facilitating prompt response to inquiries.
- Provide guidance and review the work of junior colleagues for accuracy and timeliness.
- Support the financial modeller on deal teams and scrutinize financial models.
- Assist in preparing marketing materials, including proposals and pitches.
Profile and Requirements: Experience/Profile:
- Preferably possesses project finance experience and/or project finance modelling skills, depending on the job level.
- Completed university studies.
Technical Skills:
- Fluency in German and English is essential.
- Familiarity with credit, risk management, market dynamics, and legal aspects of project finance.
- Proficiency in internal systems and procedures.
- Strong analytical abilities, including the capacity to run financial models.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Sound IT knowledge.
- Proficient quantitative and numerical skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
