Job Description
1st Mate / Eng – Private 30m M/YAn opportunity for a Mate with good engineering skills to join a well-maintained 30m private motor yacht. Ideal for someone with a S Florida home base who enjoys working in a small, close-knit crew. The vessel operates between Miami and West Palm.
Start date: Flexible
Itinerary: Florida
Package: Salary paid in USD
Experience/Skills required:
• Minimum 2 year’s experience as Deck / Mate on yachts 20m+
• Good knowledge of Miami waterways and Key Biscayne
• Basic engineering knowledge and proactive problem-solving ability
• Spanish speaking a plus
• Fishing or diving skills a bonus
• Team player with excellent communication skills
Qualifications required:
• STCW (fully updated)
• Seafarer’s Medical Certificate (valid)
• PBL2
• AEC 2 (preferred)
• American or US green card holder
