Deck/Sole Engineer – Private 35m M/Y

We are looking for a reliable and technically capable Deck/Sole Engineer seeking long-term stability aboard a 35m private motor yacht. The successful candidate will independently manage the yacht’s engineering operations and must also be willing to assist the deck team during the busy summer season.

The ideal candidate will already be established in Mallorca and hold the necessary documentation to live, work and pay tax in Spain.

Itinerary: Mediterranean
Package: Salary paid in Euros; salary and leave package DOE

Experience/Skills required:

• Previous experience as a Sole Engineer aboard similar-sized motor yachts

• Strong technical knowledge of yacht engineering systems, machinery and planned maintenance

• Confident managing day-to-day engineering operations independently

• Proactive approach to preventative maintenance and troubleshooting

• Willing and able to assist with deck operations during the summer season

• Comfortable supporting mooring, anchoring, tender and general exterior duties when required

• Organised, reliable and committed to maintaining accurate technical records

• Seeking a permanent position with a genuine long-term commitment

• Ideally already settled in Mallorca

• Must possess the necessary documentation to live, work and pay tax in Spain

Qualifications required:

• Minimum EOOW

• STCW (fully updated)

• Seafarer’s Medical Certificate

• Seaman’s Discharge Book (preferred)
