The Role

We’re looking for a proactive Noise Technician/Surveyor to carry out noise surveys across the UK. This is a field-based role requiring flexible working, including occasional nights and weekends (with time off in lieu). You'll be responsible for maintaining and calibrating noise monitoring equipment and working both independently and as part of a wider team.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct background and operational noise surveys on various sites.

• Maintain, clean, and calibrate monitoring equipment.

• Work flexibly, including occasional night and weekend shifts.

• Travel across the UK (company van provided).

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

• A degree in Acoustics or equivalent with 1–2 years of experience.

• Membership of the Institute of Acoustics (Tech IOA minimum).

• Willingness to undertake the IOA Certificate of Competence in Environmental Noise Measurement.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent note-taking skills.

• A flexible approach to working hours.
