Location: Essex, East Anglia, London, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire and Oxfordshire
Salary: £30,000 - £50,000 DOE

The Role

We are seeking an Arboricultural Consultant or Senior Arboricultural Consultant to provide expert advice, conduct surveys, and manage arboricultural projects. You’ll play a vital role in shaping sustainable landscapes while working closely with ecologists and landscape professionals.

What You’ll Do

• Tree Surveys & Reports: Conduct tree condition and development-related surveys, producing detailed reports for planning applications and risk assessments.
• Project Management: Oversee arboricultural projects, ensuring efficient delivery and compliance with planning requirements.
• Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Provide expert consultancy advice to clients, planning authorities, and design teams.
• Team Collaboration: Work alongside ecological and landscape professionals to deliver integrated environmental solutions.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure projects meet UK planning policies and best practice guidelines.
• Site Supervision: Monitor tree surgery work and support contractors to ensure high-quality standards.

What We’re Looking For

✔ Experience in tree surveying, reporting, and consultancy
✔ Strong understanding of BS5837 surveys, tree health assessments, and risk evaluation
✔ Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, local authorities, and project teams
✔ Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines
✔ Passion for sustainable arboriculture and environmental best practices
