The Role
We’re seeking an ambitious and confident Planning Consultant to join a friendly and growing team based in Bristol. You’ll be managing your own projects while working closely with the Planning Directors and wider multidisciplinary teams. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects across a diverse range of sectors, including renewable energy, EV charging, residential, and commercial developments.

What You’ll Do
- Prepare and coordinate planning applications.
- Contribute to Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) documents.
- Conduct planning feasibility reviews.
- Submit planning representations for site identification within Local Development Plans.
- Manage discharge of Planning Condition submissions.
- Collaborate with internal teams on multidisciplinary projects.
- Support business development and actively participate in networking opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- 1–2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within consultancy.
- Progress toward MRTPI membership (or already a member).
- Strong understanding of the planning process and relevant legislation.
- A full, clean UK driving licence and access to a car for site visits and travel.
- Eligibility to work and reside in the UK.
Desirable:
- Experience in sectors such as renewable energy or infrastructure.
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to professional development.
