The Role

As a Senior Planner, you’ll be the linchpin for clients, providing expert planning advice for Development Consent Orders (DCO) and other critical infrastructure projects. You’ll play a key role in shaping renewable energy projects and beyond, working alongside a talented team of planning and infrastructure specialists.

What You’ll Do

• Lead on DCO applications, supporting projects through inception, pre-application, and Examination stages.
• Advise on projects governed by the TCPA regime.
• Act as the primary contact for clients, delivering high-quality planning advice.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions for major infrastructure developments.
• Stay informed about changes to the UK planning system, applying your expertise to upcoming reforms.

What We Are Looking For

Essential:

• RTPI qualification (or equivalent).
• Expertise in the UK planning system, including DCO and TCPA processes.
• Experience in infrastructure project planning.
• Passion for large-scale projects with environmental and societal impact.

Desirable:

• Prior experience managing Development Consent Orders.
