The Role:
As an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering vital planning advice and managing impactful infrastructure projects. You’ll lead the way in environmental project management, supported by a team of multidisciplinary experts, while making a tangible difference to the development of national projects.


What You’ll Do:

  • Act as the primary contact for clients, providing expert planning advice on applications and projects.
  • Manage EIA processes as part of Development Consent Orders.
  • Research and deliver comprehensive planning appraisals to assess site development potential.
  • Prepare and submit EIA reports and high-quality planning documents with actionable recommendations.
  • Develop fee proposals and client relationships to secure new opportunities.
  • Engage with stakeholders and negotiate outcomes that balance client objectives with planning frameworks.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Partner to refine commercials and contribute to business growth.

What We Are Looking For:

  • A degree in environmental science or a related discipline.
  • Chartered status (or working towards) through CIWEM, CIEEM, or IEMA.
  • Strong technical knowledge of EIA processes and legislation.
  • Experience delivering complex, multidisciplinary projects to a high standard.
  • Ability to prepare professional reports and navigate environmental and planning frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with stakeholders and clients.
