Consultant Civil/Drainage Engineer + £1,250 Placement Bonus*

The Role:
As a Consultant Civil/Drainage Engineer, you will support the delivery of flood risk and drainage strategies for a wide range of projects. Working closely with senior professionals, you’ll have the opportunity to develop your skills and gain chartership while being part of a supportive team. This is a hands-on role that offers diverse project experience and technical challenges.

What You'll Do:

• Assist in the preparation of surface water/foul drainage strategies and highway designs.
• Support the preparation of technical reports, risk assessments, and fee proposals.
• Liaise with water regulators, statutory authorities, and stakeholders.
• Conduct site walkovers, manage survey works, and oversee technical assessments.
• Manage project timelines and budgets under guidance from your line manager.

What We Are Looking For:

• A relevant degree in civil engineering or a related field, and a willingness to work towards chartership (ICE, CIWEM).
• 2–5 years of experience in civil/drainage engineering.
• Familiarity with drainage design software (Microdrainage, Causeway, CAD).
• Strong organisational skills and an ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Driving licence (preferred).
