Senior Civil/Drainage Engineer + £1,750 Placement Bonus*

The Role:
As a Senior Civil/Drainage Engineer, you’ll play a key role in expanding our Manchester or Cambridge offices, providing leadership and mentorship while delivering flood risk and drainage strategies. You will have the opportunity to lead projects, engage with stakeholders, and develop innovative designs that contribute to a more sustainable future.

What You'll Do:

• Lead and contribute to the development of surface water/foul drainage strategies and highway designs.
• Mentor junior engineers and oversee project delivery.
• Prepare and review technical reports, risk assessments, and fee proposals.
• Consult with water regulators, statutory authorities, and key stakeholders.
• Oversee site walkovers, CCTV surveys, and other assessment works.
• Work closely with project managers to manage budgets and timelines.

What We Are Looking For:

• A relevant degree in civil engineering or similar, and experience in gaining or holding chartership (ICE, CIWEM).
• 5+ years’ experience in civil/drainage engineering.
• Proficiency in drainage design software (Microdrainage, Causeway, CAD).
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to liaise with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with industry drainage policy and guidance.
• Driving licence (preferred).
