Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Hosted Desktop Migration Technician to join our customer onboarding team. The primary responsibility of this role is to facilitate the seamless migration of new customers into our Hosted Desktop service. This includes setting up the Hosted Desktop environment within Windows Server, installing and configuring VOIP systems, and migrating files and data from existing systems.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Windows engineering and possess a strong technical background in Active Directory, Windows Server, Office 365, and related technologies.

Required Skills and Experience:
Previous experience in Windows engineering or a similar role, with a strong understanding of Active Directory, Windows Server, and related technologies. Proficiency in Office 365 administration, including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Intune. Knowledge of networking principles, DNS, and security best practices, with experience in configuring and troubleshooting network devices and protocols. Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation, administration, and management tasks within Windows environments. Experience with data migration processes, including data mapping, validation, and transfer methodologies. Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and database management concepts. Experience working with legal and/or financial companies and familiarity with case and accounting software is an advantage. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues and challenges.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:30 Availability to work some weekends. Flexible working hours available. Hybrid working.
