Role Summary:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Database Engineer to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to facilitate the migration of database and system configurations, including custom forms and workflows, for new customers from one software solution to another.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL and NoSQL databases, as well as software development skills in JavaScript, React, and Python.

Required Skills and Experience:

Proven experience as a Database Engineer or similar role, with expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases. Strong understanding of database management concepts, data modelling, and database migration strategies. Proficiency in software development skills, including JavaScript, React, and Python, is highly desirable. Experience with database migration tools and techniques, processes, and data mapping. Familiarity with software development methodologies and best practices, including version control, testing, and debugging. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders.

Location: South Sheffield

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:30 Flexible working hours available. Hybrid working.
