Lead the design, development, and troubleshooting of innovative medical devices throughout the R&D lifecycle.
Collaborate with physicians to translate clinical needs into product requirements and design concepts.
Drive technical innovation and provide leadership across multidisciplinary teams.
Identify and mitigate technological risks during product development.
Apply deep knowledge of anatomy, physiology, materials science, and engineering principles to develop effective medical device designs.
Build strong working relationships with internal teams and external suppliers, both locally and globally.
Take projects from early concept through to commercialization, contributing across technical, process, and product domains.
Solve complex engineering challenges related to existing products and support ongoing portfolio enhancements.
Contribute to the creation and protection of intellectual property.
Mentor and guide junior engineers, sharing expertise and providing direction.
Engage with cross-site technical forums to foster knowledge sharing and community building.
Help define and implement strategic technical goals aligned with overall business strategy.
Design and conduct studies to address specific scientific and engineering questions in your area of expertise.
What We’re Looking For
Level 8 degree in Engineering or a related field with a minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience, or a PhD with at least 5 years’ experience. Additional qualifications are a plus.

Expertise in one or more of the following: component/system design, medical-grade materials (polymers/metals), sterilization processes, test method development, Design for Six Sigma, CAD (SolidWorks preferred), pre-clinical evaluation, clinical collaboration, anatomical and physiological knowledge, system requirements, design controls, and ISO standards for medical devices.
Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts.
