Mechanical Engineer - Limerick 

Our client is a leading integrated supplier of a complete range of raw materials and additional processing services to clients throughout Ireland and the UK. Serves a broad spectrum of industries including Dairy, Food Processing, Brewing, Pharmaceutical, Architectural and Environmental. 
You will be working within our Production Engineering
team. This role has a high level of technical responsibility and requires strong mechanical reasoning.
The desired candidate must be comfortable to work on their own and be a part of cross-functional
teams as well as interact and liaise with our customers to Identify new opportunities.

In this role you will :

• Interface with our customers to deliver cost effective technical engineering solutions.
• Collaborate with customers, engineers, sub-contractors, suppliers, and in-house resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Project scheduling and resource planning aligned to meet customer requirements.
• Maintaining accurate records of all process steps.

The ideal skills and qualifications you will have:

• Minimum of 3 year’s experience in an engineering role within a similar environment.
• Third Level Qualification (Level 8), in a relevant engineering discipline
  (Mechanical, Precision or Manufacturing).
• Strong ability in reading technical drawings essential.
• Experience in using 2D and 3D modelling software applications.
• Strong organisational and time management skills and attention to detail essential.
• Be technically minded with a proven ability to problem solve in a mechanical design
  engineering environment.
