Job Description

fishing from Papamoa beach

Summer in the Bay of Plenty is awesome, but there's an appealing energy shift in winter. The pace is calm, the climate is mild, and the list of fun things to do is just as long. The welcome mat is out if you fancy the idea of flexible sessions and a stint beside one of our country's best beaches.

Key Information

  • GP Locum
  • 6/10 to 8/10 sessions per week
  • Flexible timeframe
  • Mt Maunganui / Papamoa

The Practice and the Team
These sister clinics at Papamoa and Mt Maunganui have teams who are professional, supportive and committed to patient care.

Location
Surely every Kiwi knows where the Mount is? If you haven't spent childhood summers there, surfing, camping, or fishing from the beach, you'll be familiar with the walk out to the point of Moturiki, the fish and chips at Bobbies on Dive Crescent, or the tracks at Kaiate Falls.

After work beach walks, paddleboarding, a good flat ride to work, mountain biking at the Redwoods, and loads of places to eat out, it's quite the place for a winter locum.

About You
  • Current full registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
  • Adaptable, and committed to how you can best support a clinic, its team and its patients
