  • 6/10 to 8/10 (24 to 32 hours per week)

The Practice and the Team
You’ll be working with a friendly team of up to 2 doctors, 2 practice nurses, a receptionist and practice manager, all with a passion for delivering excellent health care to their Oamaru community. Support is also provided to the practice via the PHO with a Health Improvement Practitioner, Health Coach, and a Community Support Worker. It's a charming villa with approximately 2000 enrolled patients and you'll quickly get to know the long established residents and young families making this part of Aotearoa their home.


Location
The Steam Punk capital of New Zealand, Oamaru offers a range of cultural and outdoor experiences. The sea, Southern lakes and rivers provide the water element, and the mountains are in sight for the avid skier and hiker. Explore the Alps to Ocean trails or the historical city of Dunedin, just an hour’s drive further south of Oamaru.

About You
  • You’ll have current full registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
  • Patient-centred with a particular interest in elder care
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional practitioner keen to make their mark in a welcoming community.
