The Practice and the Team
This wellbeing hub provides affordable, accessible healthcare including GP and nursing care, dental and physiotherapy services, mental health and addiction support, maternal and child health programmes, community outreach, whānau support, migrant and refugee services, podiatry and fitness facilities. The multidisciplinary team is committed to the kaupapa (purpose) and supportive of each other as well as those they serve.


Location
Even with a population 135,000, Dunedin is the hidden gem of NZ. Known as the 5 minute city, it doesn’t take long to get anywhere, including into nature. Its beautiful beaches and historical architecture really set Dunedin apart, and the vibrant student life courtesy of the University of Otago gives the town some edge and positivity. It's known as the Edinburgh of the South for its strong Scottish history and cold winter temperatures, but the long hot summers last more than one day here! If you need to leave there are daily scheduled flights to other centres including Auckland International airport. Otherwise, ski fields, bike trails, hikes and vineyards - Dunedin has something for everyone. 


About You

• Current full registration with Medical Council of NZ - or be eligible to apply
• Interest in and curiosity about the kaupapa Māori approach to healthcare
• Keen to take your place within a supportive team making a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of the Dunedin community
