Job Description




The cultural diversity of South Auckland is what gives this locum opportunity its unique flavour. Share your skills in a clinic that will welcome you, and take time to play in the city and its surrounds. There are a couple of options: the first, flexible sessions during Feb and March; the second, covering annual leave from 27 Feb through 7 April, three days per week.

  • Specific need to cover annual leave from 27 Feb to 7 April every Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday

The Practice and the Team 
From practice-owned premises, the team of 4 part time GPs, 4 RNs and their support crew serve a diverse demographic, reflective of the Manukau community. The clinic offers outreach services for immunisation, long-term conditions, and diabetes and host a Kahu Taurima maternity and early years programme, a Whanau Ora Navigator, Health Coach, and Podiatrist.

 


Location
South Auckland’s vibrant urban hub of Manukau is known for its rich multicultural community, with a large Pacific and Asian population reflected in markets, festivals, food and arts. Auckland Airport is a 20-30 minute drive away and the Waikato region, and Coromandel are treats for the taking.

Of course, if you're already living there you'll know what the buzz is about Auckland - but take some time to explore a new area!

 

 

About You 
  • Current full registration with MCNZ
  • Experience in minor surgery
  • Adaptable, open and patient centred
  • Likely already living in Auckland or North Waikato
