The Practice and the Team
This General Practice is small and mighty, with an excellent support crew of NPs, nursing staff and administrators. Clinical virtual assistant support is available for GPs who wish to use it. With the clinic just a stone’s throw from Fitzroy park and the waterfront, a wee stroll in your lunch break is completely within the bounds of possibility.



Location
New Plymouth is dominated by the stunning maunga Taranaki, part of Egmont National Park and a much respected mountain for walking and climbing. The Taranaki coastline juts into the Tasman sea and is popular for its surf breaks. The skifields at Mt Ruapehu are a four hour drive away, manageable for a day trip if you’re up for an early start! It’s a 4.5 hour drive to Wellington and there are daily regional flights including connections to Auckland international airport.


About You
• Current full registration with MCNZ
• Experienced GP comfortable working autonomously
• Special interest in the areas of acute care and/or skin work (DermEngine) would be welcome
• Patient-centred, with interpersonal skills that cover all the bases – your patients and the team
• Keen to take your place within a professional and supportive team making a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of the New Plymouth community
